The recent One Piece chapter spoilers for chapter 1150 have sparked a flurry of anticipation and anxiety among fans. The chapter is titled "Domi Reversi," which darkly translates to "dark reversal control." The chapter seems poised to deliver a significant change to the current situation, forcing the Straw Hats and their allies into an even greater fight.

There is still more context to come, but the pointers all imply that this could be the climax of the Golden Harvest Surrogate Pilgrimage arc, most likely revealing new and horrifying abilities alongside an unmanageable escalation of the conflict.

One Piece Chapter 1150 Spoilers Reveal Imu's True Form

Perhaps the biggest surprise from the Chapter 1150 spoilers is the character of Imu, who is now called Gunko/Imu. The chapter has an "EPIC double page" that shows Imu's 'devil form.' The descriptions depict a horrifying sight: a giant, with "2 huge and leathery black wings resembling bat wings" and an "arrow-shaped tail.' This terrifying vision confirms that Imu is not a human, and makes him into a truly powerful and terrifying antagonist, one that almost fits more within a demonic realm. In addition to the horrific display of power, Gunko/Imu shows the ability to wield power over characters apparently previously unseen or thought to be dead. Sommers appeared under the command of Imu to Usopp's astonishment, indicating a profound ability of manipulation, or perhaps even resurrection, and raises immediate questions about what else this all-powerful being can effectuate.

The strategic brilliance and terrifying cruelty of Imu's forces is further exemplified by the introductions of "Nightmare Holes." Killingham a lieutenant, explains that the Nightmare Holes continue to chug out "creatures of dream" from the island's collective nightmares.

Furthermore, these monstrous beings "have no concept of death from within" and can be revived whenever they want, making an infinite, regenerating army of horrors. Just this mechanic makes the Straw Hats' task impossible, as they are fighting literally without a pause, as it becomes an infinite source of foes on the battlefield.

Brogy's Dark Transformation

The spoilers also indicate a horrifying confrontation with Brogy, the ancient Giant Warrior. Gunko/Imu's bare-handed, direct act of unqualified brutality in attacking Brogy with a dagger and a huge shotgun shows their evil brutality. The later use of an obscure "Devil's Contract" to sever Brogy's hand from his arm signifies pure strength, outside normal combat methods.

But this appears to flip the situation in an ironic sense. Brogy reportedly responds with his "Devil's Contract," appearing again in a new "devil form," encased in fire. This facilitates his gaining "2 huge wings (like Gunko/Imu's), 4 large fangs, and 2 black horns," wielding a "huge double-edged axe." This looks like a power-up at first, but the mirroring of Imu's hellish attributes raises ominous questions about the true nature of this power.

The sinister implications continue when Gunko/Imu then uses the "Domi Reversi" to taint Dorry and other "Giant Warrior Pirates", transforming them into the same devil shapes with wings, fangs, and massive tridents. Through this act of 'dark reversal', the strong allies are turned into terrifying foes, only to become the spearhead of Imu's growing forces.

The Unstoppable Devil Army

In the chapter's fake "EPIC last double page," we are shown Gunko/Imu's new army, a frightening first wave of changed 'devil' Dorry, Brogy, and the other Giant Warrior Pirates, along with the even larger and more grotesque group of dream creatures to follow. As for the "devil army", this army is arguably the most powerful army the Straw Hats have faced at once, with a massive amount of brute strength and supernatural regeneration, as well as darkened transformations.

At the end of the chapter, Imu ends with some strange thoughts to foreshadow his grand plans. Speaking of "Ebapah", Imu says, "This nation is not to be destroyed... but to be ruled by Mu". In this bit, it appears Imu thinks it will rule instead of destroy, suggesting there is a motive in ruling and thinking ahead rather than just going for the slaughter of the enemy, one lasting all the way back to chapter 1094. The also depressing comment, "Let's see a little longer what kinds of performance they have to offer in wars", carries into the tone of the potential battles to come.

As the chapter is said to end with a show of readiness between Jarul and the other giants to go against the grim situation of the "DoryBro duo," Chapter 1150 seems to be a significant chapter. With a "NO BREAK next week," fans can expect to have this confrontation back to them immediately since the Straw Hats are facing a literal nightmare of an army under some unimaginable power.
