The collaboration extends beyond synergy in extreme product integration, where gamers provide feedback in real-time that impacts current as well as forthcoming OnePlus devices.

OnePlus, the global tech company celebrated for its delivery of lightning-fast and lag-free mobile experiences, officially enters India's esports landscape. The company announced today partnerships with three top esports teams: Gods Reign, K9, and Cincinnati Kids, reaffirming its commitment to developing a gaming-centric ecosystem.

The collaboration extends beyond synergy in extreme product integration, where gamers provide feedback in real-time that impacts current as well as forthcoming OnePlus devices. The synergy is aimed at bringing true, on-ground knowledge to the product development process so that every device is put to test and refined in the toughest mobile gaming conditions.

In doing so through this alliance, OnePlus reaffirms its commitment to delivering industry-leading performance, particularly for gaming scenarios where frame rate, thermal efficiency, and sustained power are key. It's not merely establishing a presence in esports but contributing to its future in fact by aligning product strategy with the gamers' needs and the audience that stands behind them.

OnePlus Enters Esports, Partners with OnePlus Gods Reign, OnePlus K9 and OnePlus Cincinnati Kids

According to the deal, K9 and Cincinnati Kids shall now operate as OnePlus Gods Reign, OnePlus K9, and OnePlus Cincinnati Kids, reflecting an increased synergistic focus on delivering streamlined high-performance gaming experiences to a larger audience.

Talking about this, Marcel Campos, Director of Product Strategy at OnePlus said, "At OnePlus, our community has always been at the core of everything we do. Over the years, we’ve listened closely to our gaming community and understood their need for speed, performance, and reliability. This collaboration reinforces our dedication to the gaming community and marks an exciting step in empowering the next generation of mobile esports athletes."

Meet the Team

OnePlus Gods Reign

Bangalore-based esports behemoth Gods Reign has some of India's best BGMI athletes. Known for their strategy, expertise, and unmatched synergy, they've conquered BGIS and BGMS championships and been runners-up at BMPS — with their 2023 BGIS victory still the stuff of dreams. In 2025 they won the ESL Snapdragon Pro Series with new roster buys and a sharper mind.

OnePlus K9

Formed from the ground-up talent and driven by determination, K9 is one of India's fastest-rising BGMI teams. From capturing community tournaments to occupying podium finishes in ESL BGMI Snapdragon Pro Series, Red Bull MEO, and BGIS, K9 is proof that teamwork and planning win championships. Now as OnePlus K9, the team is ready to chase overseas glory.

OnePlus Cincinnati Kids

From underappreciated to unstoppable, OnePlus Cincinnati Kids are the definition of the underdog tale. With no sponsors and minimal limelight, they kept grinding in non-qualifying events. Everything changed at BGIS 2025, however, when they surprised fans and opponents alike to finish in 7th place in the Grand Finals. Rebranded OnePlus Cincinnati Kids, their story is a testament to grit, passion, and pure love for the game.
