Overwatch 2 Season 15: Release Date, Perks, Galactic Weapons & More!

Overwatch 2 Season 15 is going to bring huge changes, a new Perks system, rank reset, and Loot Boxes back. The update comes on February 18, with new rewards and gameplay changes for casual and competitive players.

The Perks system is the season highlight, where players can earn Minor and Major Perks during the match. Minor Perks grant small stat increases, but Major Perks grant game-altering abilities that may turn team fights. The system will be in Quick Play and Competitive, bringing a new element of strategy.

New Competitive Year and Battle Pass Rewards

The 2025 Competitive Year begins with a rank reset, giving all players a fresh start. Those climbing the ladder can unlock Galactic Weapons, a new tier of cosmetic rewards.

Season 15’s Premium Battle Pass includes 80 Mythic Prisms for unlocking Mythic Pixiu Zenyatta, alongside a collection of Legendary Skins. Fans of the original game can also enjoy Overwatch Classic, featuring the return of the GOATS meta. Additionally, the game brings back Loot Boxes, a feature many players have been requesting.

New Shop Skins and Rainy Day Skins that can be earned and also add more customization possibilities. Blizzard is trying to keep the player community active while combining the old and new ones.
