Palworld Update v0.5.0: Crossplay, Global Palbox & More Added ; Get Full Patch Notes Here

The long-awaited crossplay feature has finally been introduced in Palworld, making players' long-time anticipation into reality. With Update v0.5.0, multiplayer experiences have been made more accessible. Alongside this, a new Global Palbox has been added that made it easier to transfer Pals between worlds, and a Dimensional Pal Storage system now offers significantly expanded storage capacity.

Crossplay Now Available

Enjoy seamless crossplay across all supported platforms, making multiplayer sessions more accessible than ever.

Global Palbox

This new storage option allows you to transfer Pals between different worlds with ease.

Dimensional Pal Storage

A high-capacity storage upgrade with ten times the regular Palbox space. It offers both personal and guild access with private settings.

Cosmetic Armour System

Customize your character’s look without affecting armour stats using the Antique Dresser.

Photo Mode

Take stunning screenshots by hiding the UI and freely moving the camera via the Pal Command Wheel.

Drafting Table

Combine lower-rarity blueprints to craft higher-rarity ones for better gear and equipment.

Mac Dedicated Servers

Mac users can now host dedicated servers, improving their gameplay experience.

 

 

Gameplay Adjustments and Enhancements

• Players can now place buildings even if they overlap with a Pal.

• Improved foundation and roof snapping for better construction alignment.

• Dungeons now feature torches at entrances for improved visibility.

• Players can sit on chairs and cushions.

• Adjusted weapon damage to prevent excessive resource exploitation.

Balance Tweaks

• Elemental Chest Rewards: Now guaranteed to drop Dog Coins with a small chance of work suitability books.

• Attack Chopper EXP Boost: Increased experience rewards for defeating this enemy.

• Flamethrower Buff: Higher DPS for improved combat efficiency.

• Better Default Attacks: Electric and Dark Pals now have more balanced attacks when skills are on cooldown.

• Raid Boss Fixes: Summoned raid bosses no longer damage unrelated bases.

• Dumud’s Elemental Attribute: Now officially has a Water attribute.

• Improved NPC Work Suitability: Some human NPCs now showcase proper work animations when assigned to tasks.

User Interface Improvements

• Favorites now categorized into three groups: Favourite 1, 2, and 3.

• Pal Soul Enhancement UI: Holding the +/- button now continuously adjusts values.

• New Sorting Option for Pal Box: Sort by Work Suitability Level for better organization.

• Extra Large Text Option: Improved accessibility with a new text size choice.

• Fullscreen Mode: More immersive gameplay experience.

Achievements and Bug Fixes

The developers have fixed several key bugs to improve gameplay stability in Palworld. Initially, there were some issues like causing players to be unexpectedly launched into the air, whether while climbing, dismounting, or getting stunned over water, that have been resolved. Apart from this, dedicated server glitches, such as Pals getting stuck on feed boxes and Bounty Token effects not applying properly, have also been fixed.

We can already see that update v0.5.0 significantly enhances Palworld with long-awaited crossplay support, a variety of gameplay improvements, and crucial fixes.
