PRX Jing played against FNATIC at Masters Toronto with a devastating problem. Here's what happened, how close PRX came to losing, and what's next for Jing.
Everyone knew PRX could have lost the match against FNATIC because of their defining trademark to troll. Yet, a recent revelation from Jing just made fans realise just how close they were to losing it all. Let's get into it.
What Happened To Jing On Masters Toronto?
If you watched Masters Toronto — Jing was a beast. He was going crazy on Raze, hopping on boxes, getting Sage-walled and still popping heads like it was nothing. But here’s the thing: behind all that confidence? His wrist was injured.
Yeah, for real. Jing was wrecking Fnatic with a wrist that wasn’t even 100%. Now imagine if PRX had lost and this came out after. Bait comments like “He's just faking it”, would have flooded social media and the hot takes? A toxic mess. While Jing sent this message on his discord, he revealed further plans about his injury as well
What About His Wrist?
According to the discord message, Jing’s back in Singapore now, but he's probably not going to get any rest. Between jet lag, trying to get his wrist to 100%, and having to fly to Riyadh soon for EWC, the guy barely has time to breathe.
The time limit? 5–7 days. Yea, while that's a short amount of time, Jing probably would want to get back on and game as soon as he can anyway, but it also makes you question when his injury even came about
When Was Jing’s Wrist Injured?
Turns out, Jing’s been dealing with that wrist injury since landing in Toronto but just kept grinding while being locked in. He’s getting it checked tomorrow and depending on the severity might get a scan or be left off with just a quick look. Regardless, despite facing such difficulties, PRX made it and so did Jing.
