PUBG Mobile Esports World Cup 2025: Dates, Teams & Prize Pool

PUBG Mobile is returning to the international stage in esports with the official presence of the PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) 2025 tournament included in the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2025. The tournament will highlight amazing matches, rivalries and memorable moments with PMWC flying teams from around the world into one of the largest competitive tournaments in the world. PMWC 2025, under the EWC banner, will help promote PUBG Mobile’s place in the mobile esports ecosystem and elevate the status of international competitive events. 

Schedule, Format & Big Prize Pool for PMWC 2025

The tournament is scheduled from July 25 to August 3. The PMWC 2025 (EWC format) presents three stages of competition to gauge the teams' working strategy in terms of consistency, the adaptability of situations, and resilience:

• Group Stage (July 25–27):

The 24 qualified teams will be divided into 3 groups and will compete in 18 fierce matches. The best 8 teams get direct entry into the Grand Finals.

• Survival Stage (July 29–30):

The 16 teams remaining will have to fight for 8 final spots. The strongest will survive while the weakest 8 will be eliminated from the tournament.

• Grand Finals (August 1–3):

The 16 best competing teams will play over 18 matches for six matches a day to decide the world champions. With Smash Rule coming into action, the stakes and the hype will be increased to the max for an electrifying end. 

PMWC 2025 is offering a gigantic prize purse worth practically $3.05 million beacon for competitive mobile gaming. How it shall be split remains unknown, except that the biggest chunk is assuredly going to the team that will be crowned champions.
