PUBG Mobile Metro Royale Chapter 26 Unveils Risk-Reward Systems, Updated Mechanics, and More

Chapter 26 of PUBG Mobile’s Metro Royale mode arrives on May 9. This update focuses on fast decisions, high-stakes rewards, and smarter gameplay. It’s built for players who like to take risks and think on their feet.

Loot Trains and Clockwork Rewards

Two abandoned trains appear in Mistyport and Arctic Base. Each is packed with wooden and clockwork crates containing valuable items. At the end of each train is a mechanical cache with even rarer loot, including a unique token.

These tokens can be used at the train service counter. There, players find a broken clockwork attendant. Insert a token, and you’ll get two choices—claim the current reward, or gamble for a better one by adding more tokens.

The more you feed the machine, the better the potential reward. But the risk grows too. The attendant may break down, causing you to lose all tokens and future rewards. It’s a game of luck and timing.

Hackable Military Servers Add Risk

Chapter 26 also introduces portable military servers. These are marked on the mini-map. Hack one to download high-value intel. But be careful—hacking sets off an alarm. That noise can attract nearby enemies, adding tension and danger.

Fairer Matches and UI Tweaks

To keep fights balanced, new limits are in place. Players can’t bring gear above level five or ammo over level four into the basic frontline or old blockade zones. This helps ensure more even matches.

Some interface updates are also here. Players can now choose to hide or show helmets and backpacks in the Metro Royale lobby. In Team Deathmatch Warehouse, you can now view both teams’ loadouts on the results screen. This makes it easier to study opponents and adjust your tactics.

New Collectibles and Sellable Items

The update includes fresh collectibles. These can be found and sold for in-game value. They also unlock new rewards, giving players more reasons to explore and loot.
