PUBG Mobile PMGO 2025: Champions, MVP & Full Recap

Regnum Carya wins PMGO 2025; DOK named MVP in thrilling PUBG Mobile esports opener.

The 2025 PUBG Mobile Esports season launched with a bang at the PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO), hosted in the vibrant setting of Uzbekistan. First unveiled at Gamescom Latam in São Paulo, the event set the stage for an electrifying year of competition, drawing fans from around the world eager to witness fresh talent, fierce rivalries, and a revamped tournament structure.

Tournament Format and Road to the Finals

Focused on developing amateur talent while spotlighting global heavyweights, PMGO 2025 featured a comprehensive structure. 

The journey began on February 13 with multiple qualifying stages, including national and international brackets. 
Uzbekistan held its qualifiers throughout March, culminating in the national finals on April 9.
The Prelims (April 10–11) welcomed 16 teams from six regions, where the top 7 secured spots in the Main Event. 
They were joined by 8 invited elite teams and the Uzbekistan Finals winner, forming a 16-team lineup for the Main Event on April 12–13.

Epic Finale and MVP Glory

Regnum Carya Esports emerged victorious, dominating the battlefield with 106 points and showcasing precision, teamwork, and strategic brilliance. Nigma Galaxy followed as a strong runner-up, while the battle for third came down to a dramatic tie between THE721 AGGRESSOR and GOAT Quality, both finishing with 85 points. THE721 AGGRESSOR clinched third place by securing one extra chicken dinner, a testament to the weight of match wins in the overall rankings.

Despite a 13th-place finish, DOK from 4Merical Vibes stunned spectators with exceptional individual performances, earning the MVP title of the tournament.

Teams, Highlights, and Prize Pool

The Main Event featured a mix of top-tier invitees and hungry qualifiers, including fan-favorites like Influence Rage, REJECT, D’XAVIER, Nongshim RedForce, and a representative from China’s PEL.

PMGO 2025 paved the way for an action-packed esports schedule, combining fresh faces with international legends. Not only did it crown a new champion, but it also raised the competitive bar going into future marquee events such as the Esports World Cup (EWC) and the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC).
