Qila Games Secures $1 Million Investment to Develop Hybrid-Casual Games

Qila Games, a newly established hybrid-casual gaming startup, has successfully raised $1 million in pre-seed funding to drive its expansion and innovation in the gaming sector. The investment round was spearheaded by Chimera VC, with additional backing from Visceral Capital, Atrium Angels, Ventatana Ventures, 91 Ventures, Untitled Ventures, and several angel investors. This funding will enable Qila Games to strengthen its presence in the Indian gaming market and develop engaging hybrid-casual games that balance accessibility with deeper player involvement.

A Vision for Hybrid-Casual Gaming in India

Founded in 2024 by industry veterans Dhananjai Hari and Neeraj Mishra, Qila Games is committed to bridging the gap between casual and midcore gaming. The company plans to use the newly acquired capital to create fresh intellectual properties (IPs), enhance its gaming portfolio, and refine its technological and design infrastructure. By focusing on hybrid-casual gaming, the startup aims to cater to the evolving preferences of Indian players while expanding its reach to a global audience.
