Sea Fantasy Launches on Nintendo Switch June 19 with Pixel Art Fishing Adventure

Sea Fantasy, which is a pixel-looking open-world RPG where there is fishing and some fights too, is gonna launch on Nintendo Switch eShop on June 19. After being on PC already in January, now players can go portable and do fishing to, somehow, save the world. The style is retro and pixel but it’s kinda modern also.

Fish Battles and Gauge Thing

The gameplay is mostly catching fish but it’s not just casting a rod, you have to hit the right timing on some moving gauge bar. That’s how the creatures, which are Sea’Az, get damaged. Some Sea’Az have more tricky patterns and it needs more accuracy or something like that.

You Craft With What You Catch

When you defeat those sea creatures, they give you parts and those are for crafting. So you make your fishing rods stronger and hooks also become better. You need that to fight harder things ahead.

Two Guys: Rod and Axel

In this one, you don’t just play alone. Rod and Axel are the two guys who got their own things to do. Rod is more fishing person while Axel can help with removing traps and blockages. Switching between both is part of how to win, kind of strategy element here.

Boats, Dungeons, and Other Areas

You go places on a boat, which adds to the feel. But there is land stuff too, like dungeons with traps and sometimes treasure. So it’s not always water. The design changes are enough to make it not boring.

Switch Version and Why It’s Good

1. Portable Plays – On Switch it’s very easy to pick and play since the game is not too long and suits quick sessions.

2. Looks Nice If You Like Indie – That pixel graphics and RPG system fit into what indie fans mostly enjoy.

3. Already Released on PC – It’s been out on Steam since January, so probably some bugs are gone, and the version coming now is more fixed.

The game is listed on eShop already and you can pre-order it now. The price isn’t written yet but games like this usually cost between ₹800 and ₹1600 in India. Probably will be close to that when it's there.
