Sea of Thieves Season 15: Deadly Megalodons, Hunter’s Call Upgrades & More

The waters of Sea of Thieves are about to become even more treacherous as Season 15: Wild Things introduces Ancient Megalodons, new voyages and a host of wildlife updates. With the first content update arriving on February 20, pirates can expect fresh challenges and rewards across the seas.

Deadly Encounters and Thrilling Hunts

Two new Ancient Megalodons will test the might of any pirate crew. The Feared Redmaw, a blazing terror, can set ships aflame with its bite and unleash devastating fire explosions. Meanwhile, the Barnacled Dread boasts a coral-armored body, requiring cannon fire to weaken. This beast’s electrifying attack not only damages ships but also summons Eel-ectric Ocean Crawlers, adding an extra layer of chaos to naval battles.

The Hunter’s Call faction is expanding with new Emissary status, allowing players to build reputation faster. Pirates can embark on Raid Voyages, earning exclusive loot and rewards. Additionally, Treasured Fish Voyages will send adventurers hunting for massive, prized fish hidden beneath bubbling waters, though rival anglers may be lurking nearby.

Wild boars will later patrol the islands in the latter half of the season, with some tending hidden treasures within their wallows. Throwable hunting spears offer a new method to interact with wildlife, adding new mechanics to the hunt. Amplified ambient wildlife will breathe life into the world, and each journey will feel even more immersive.

The update also includes Hunter’s Call Megalodon Voyages, where players can track down the mighty sea monsters for lucrative rewards. Alongside these adventures, the Season 15 Plunder Pass unlocks the Dynasty of the Deep ship collection and clothing, inspired by a lost civilization. New commendations and milestones offer further customization, letting players showcase their achievements.
