Shin Chan: Shiro and the Coal Town Now Available on App Store and Play Store: You Can't Miss It

Shin Chan: Shiro and the Coal Town was originally released on the Nintendo Switch, where it gained popularity for its heartwarming story and charming art style. Later, it made its way to PC via Steam in October 2024. And now, fans everywhere can celebrate as the game is officially available on the iOS App Store and Google Play Store.

The story begins when Shin Chan’s father, Hiroshi, is sent on a work trip to the scenic Akita Prefecture. The Nohara family decides to rent a cozy countryside farmhouse and spend some peaceful time near Hiroshi’s hometown. It’s the perfect rural escape, catching bugs, fishing in clear rivers, helping local farmers, and enjoying home-cooked meals around a warm hearth.

But one morning, everything changes when Shiro, Shin Chan’s beloved dog, returns home covered in soot and suddenly runs off. Shin Chan chases after him and finds a strange, old-fashioned train. Curiosity takes over, and soon, he finds himself in a mysterious, Showa-era town called Coal Town a place filled with quirky people, hidden secrets, and unexpected adventures.

Game is Divided into Two Worlds

In Akita, players can enjoy slow-paced rural life. Catch bugs, go fishing, collect wild veggies, and learn how to grow crops with Grandma. Everything you find adds to your nature journal, making each day feel like a treasure hunt. The peaceful pace and beautiful hand-drawn art make it feel like you're living inside an episode of the anime.

Coal Town, on the other hand, Shin Chan teams up with a brilliant young inventor to create gadgets, helps out at a local diner by bringing in ingredients, and even competes in thrilling trolley races across fun and varied tracks.
