Solo Leveling Arise Update Teased: New Hunter, Weapons, and QoL Enhancements

Netmarble has a livestream called SHARP before every update of the Solo Leveling Arise game. Yesterday it was the 7.5 edition of it.

In the live stream they have teased new changes to the game, quality of life updates, new hunter and 2 new weapons. The stream kicked off with the reveal of the new hunter and ended with quality of life updates to the game.

All the Changes to the Game teased in the Livestream

New Hunter:

Esil Rediru was revealed as a special hunter based on a what if scenario in the game. Along with her playstyle they went to explain how to use her effectively in your team.

New Weapons: 

2 new weapons for Sung Jin Woo arsenal are added with this update, Truth: Kasaka’s Venom Fang & Fan of the FIre Demon. The Truth: Kasaka’s Venom Fang is a SSR edition of the Fang with a high damage power and debuffs. While the Fan of the Fire Demon is a fire weapon that is specialized in AOE damage making Sung JIn Woo have a much quicker play style while applying burn Debuff on the enemies.

New Workshop of the Brilliant Light Enemy

Demios, the commander of transfiguration, is the new enemy of the workshop. He was teased as a Game exclusive enemy that was not featured in the Manhwa or anime or Light Novel. Players were able to face him in Hidden Chapter 4 of the story campaign. In it the players were able to see game exclusive story of how Sung Jin Woo helped Alicia Blanche and Emma Laurent helped them to close a high ranking gate in the USA. along with the two new sets of cores for players to equip on to their Sung Jin Woo and hunters.

New Co-Operative Skirmish

This is a community based co-op game mode where players will be able to get rewards based on the community clearance of the milestones. And the battles are set on Jeju island, the backdrop of the mode is set where the Korean Hunter association has requested help from hunters around the world to clear the gate on the island. This was a clever use of 4th wall breaking by the developers where they address players as hunters.

Quality of Life Updates to the Game

The game has few balance changes to the hunters to incorporate the new hunter Esil Radiru. Along with balancing, another change is a new batch level up feature to the hunter system where players can level up multiple hunters at a time instead of doing it one by one. Fixes of a few bugs in the game. Better chances for ssr drops on selected draw and weapon draws.
