Soul Tide: Game Shutting Down After Nearly Three Years of Service

Soul Tide, the anime dungeon RPG by Ujoy Games, is shutting down due to an expiring licensing agreement.
Ujoy Games has announced that its dungeon RPG Soul Tide will officially close down on February 28, 2025, as the licensing agreement for the game approaches its expiration. In one final flourish for the anime title, which originated in Japan close to three years ago in 2021, Soul Tide culminates quite an exciting odyssey. Early on, fans were captivated by its ability to seamlessly amalgamate dungeon crawl, anime girl collection, and home simulation systems, garnering numerous awards under its belt while doing so. The game then also had pre-registration in early February 2022, accepting players from outside of Asia's borders. The game will inevitably stop its operations once it has enjoyed a successful run.
A Unique Blend of Gameplay Elements
The game, Soul Tide, is a dark fantasy game set in a world where witches are the rulers, and players take on the role of Evokers—those chosen to bring an end to the witches' rule and restore peace to the world. Its innovative mechanics let players explore dungeons, collect, and interact with anime-styled characters, as well as home simulation activities. These varied features distinguished Soul Tide from the plethora of RPG games, and hence it gained the fans. Yet, the game's developers have decided to stop its service after all because of the approaching license expiration date.
Final Updates and Farewell Event Planned for Fans
With the closure date set, Ujoy Games has already disabled new downloads and in-game purchases. Players are advised to spend any remaining resources as there will be no refunds once the game shuts down. Additionally, all game data will be permanently deleted at the time of the shutdown.
In a final tribute to the game’s dedicated players, the developers have promised a special update in February 2025, which will offer an unforgettable farewell event. The update is expected to provide players with an exciting final chapter to the game’s story in the Continent Crescent world.
