Splatoon 3 Version 10.0.1 Update Released: Bug Fixes, Weapon Tweaks, and More Detailed in Patch Notes

Splatoon 3 Version 10.0.1 is live with bug fixes, minor weapon adjustments, and multiplayer improvements ahead of the upcoming Splatfest.

Nintendo now pushed out the Version 10.0.1 update for Splatoon 3, and it brings number of small but important adjustments to game. It’s mostly bug fixing, no huge content added this time, but still worth downloading before Splatfest comes closer. This follows not too long after big 10.0.0 update and start of Sizzle Season 2025.

General Fixes That Happen

In this one, few crash issues got fixed. There was one problem where the game just crashed when selecting weapon from loadout screen in some cases – that should not happen anymore. Also, freezing problem during the winning celebration screen got resolved. It was happening randomly and now not doing that.

Another small but annoying bug during Recon mode was there, where camera went through the walls in strange way. Now it behaves better and stays where it's supposed to be. No more odd camera views when just walking around maps alone.

Small Weapon Adjustments

Not a lot of weapon changes, but few things got touched. Foil Squeezer had too much ink efficiency, so that got lowered slightly. Players were using it very often in ranked matches, so now it’s more fair with other shooters.

Also, Painbrush Nouveau that came recently got some ink spread tweaking. It spreads little more evenly now. It’s a tiny change, but people who use it will probably notice difference in how it hits.

Nintendo mentioned that big balance changes will happen in future update, so this one is more like keeping things in check for now.

Multiplayer Improvements

There were fixes done in Anarchy Battle modes. In Rainmaker, there was this bug where Rainmaker would reset weirdly when it wasn’t supposed to, depending on the stage. That got fixed.

Also, sometimes after respawn, a player became invincible for an extra second or two, which was not intended. That got patched. Two maps also received small touch-ups: Barnacle & Dime and Bluefin Depot had collision tweaks, so players can’t sneak into spots they weren’t supposed to go using specials.

Card Battle and Other Fixing

For Tableturf Battle, card bugs got sorted out, especially ones happening when people moved saves from one system to another. Deck screen also got a minor UI cleanup, so it looks neater now.

As for Side Order, not really any new stuff, but Nintendo did say more polish work will come later.

Even though Version 10.0.1 doesn’t bring big flashy features, it does fix plenty of annoying stuff that could ruin fun. Players should make sure game is updated before playing more, especially if they join Splatfest. It runs smoother now, and that’s what matters.
