SPY x FAMILY Season 3 Release Date Announced: Anya Forger Takes the Spotlight

Fans of the popular anime SPY x FAMILY have exciting news. Season 3 is coming and will start in October 2025, just in time for the fall anime season.The announcement also includes new artwork featuring everyone's favorite character, Anya Forger, making the wait even more exciting.

Animation Studios Behind the Scenes

Two top animation studios, WIT Studio and CloverWorks, are back to work on the new season. They also worked together on the first two seasons and the SPY x FAMILY: CODE White movie. The voice cast is staying the same, with the same great actors returning to play the characters. Takuya Eguchi is back as Loid Forger, and Atsumi Tanezaki still voices Anya. The Story of SPY x FAMILY

SPY x FAMILY follows a spy, Twilight, who becomes a family man for purposes of a mission. He has a fake wife who is secretly an assassin and a daughter named Anya, who has a mind-reading ability. The parents are unaware of each other's secrets, but Anya knows all about them and doesn't say a word. Their humorous, strange family embarks on awesome adventures, has touching moments, and brings people to laughter. Because it premiered in April of 2022, the series has gained an immense following due to its light-hearted plot and sentimental scenes.

The anime is based on the popular manga by Tatsuya Endo, which is published on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ platform. Since it started, SPY x FAMILY has always been one of the top shows each season. The second season even earned the title "Most Anticipated Anime of Fall 2023." The success continued with the CODE: White movie, which won "Best Movie of the Year" in 2024.
