Stellar Blade PC Specs Revealed: Runs Smoothly Even on Older GPUs Like GTX 1060

Stellar Blade’s PC requirements are surprisingly low—2016 GPUs like the GTX 1060 can run it at 60 FPS. Launching June 11 with modern features.
Epic Blade's PC release, you’ll be surprised, doesn’t need a super-powerful rig. Even mid-2010s GPUs handle Sony’s action-RPG nicely. The specs aim for 60 FPS at 1080p on Low with just a GeForce GTX 1060 or Radeon RX 580—cards from 2016 and 2017. Beyond that there are four tiers—Minimum, Recommended, High and Very High—each with CPU, GPU, RAM, and storage notes. Plus, PC players get fancy upscaling tech (DLSS 4, FSR 3.0), uncapped framerates, ultrawide support and DualSense features at launch. It’s out June 11, so check your build soon.
Minimum Specs: “Low” Preset at 1080p @ 60 FPS
For the bare essentials, Stellar Blade asks:
-
CPU: Intel Core i5-7600K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600X
-
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (6 GB) or AMD Radeon RX 580 (8 GB)
-
RAM: 16 GB
-
Storage: 75 GB (SSD highly recommended)
-
OS: Windows 10 64-bit
These parts are near a decade old, and still they work fine; both GPUs retailed about $200 and you can find them cheap used. You might not expect this, but it’s true.
Mid-Tier Performance: “Medium” & “High” Presets
Wanna bump resolution to 1440p at 60 FPS on Medium? Then you need at least an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600X, paired with an RTX 2060 Super or Radeon RX 5700 XT. Interestingly this pairing also covers the High preset if you swap up to an RTX 2070 Super or Radeon RX 6700 XT for nicer visuals. RAM stays at 16 GB, storage still a speedy SSD. It feels balanced, doesn’t it?
Ultra Settings: “Very High” & PC-Exclusive Features
For 4K at 60 FPS on Very High, Shift Up recommends an NVIDIA RTX 3080 or Radeon RX 7900 XT, same i5-8400/Ryzen 5 3600X and 16 GB RAM. Beyond raw horsepower, PC has bells and whistles:
-
Upscaling & Frame Generation: NVIDIA DLSS 4, Multi-Frame Generation, AMD FSR 3.0
-
Ultrawide Support: 21:9 and 32:9 resolutions
-
Uncapped Framerate & 4K Textures: tweak to your heart’s content
-
DualSense Integration: haptics and adaptive triggers
Given these accessible demands and modern extras, Stellar Blade on PC will suit both older rigs and top-end builds when it lands June 11. Better get ready!
