Street Fighter 6 Releases Terry as Playable Character

Street Fighter has added a new character named Terry Bogard to the game's roaster. Terry's arrival in this game was first showcased in June 2024. Later, Capcom released a gameplay trailer for it along with a list of moves. Gamescom 2024 attendees also got to try out Terry for themselves.

Street Fighter 6 Terry Release Date

Terry got deployed in Street Fighter 6 on Sept. 24. He's now available on PC via Steam. He can also be accessed across the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Xbox.

Street Fighter 6 Terry Move Set

• Passing Sway: A unique combo that shifts Terry to the back "lane" of the stage after hitting, allowing him to reappear on either side of his opponent, following up with either a Jumping Lariat or Jumping Knee. This mechanic is a direct carryover from the Fatal Fury series.
• Power Wave: Launches a fireball that travels along the ground. The light version moves more slowly, while the medium version creates a larger wave of energy.
• Burn Knuckle: A forward-thrusting punch that can surprise opponents and close the distance quickly. The light version, called Quick Burn, becomes a hook followed by a downward punch that cannot be blocked while crouching.
• Buster Wolf: Terry’s Level 1 Super Art, where he charges forward with a piercing thrust and releases an energy blast. This move is invincible on startup.
• Power Geyser: Terry’s Level 2 Super Art triggers a volcanic explosion, pushing opponents away. If it connects, he can spend 3 Drive Gauge bars to follow up with a Twin Geyser. If that connects, he can use 1 Super Art gauge to unleash the iconic Triple Geyser.
• Rising Fang: Terry’s Level 3 Super Art delivers a lethal series of attacks, ending in a powerful blast, featuring some of his most iconic moves.
