Supercell updates in-game prices in Poland, Turkey, Brazil & more due to tax laws and exchange rates. Changes active from June 10, 2025.
Supercell has come forward with another wave of regional price updates for in-game items, continuing their routine adjustment to economic shifts like currency exchange rates and local tax regulations. It’s both good and bad news: some countries will see prices go down, but others, unfortunately, will pay more.
Price drops in Poland and Colombia, hike in Turkey
Starting today, June 10th, 2025, Supercell has made it clear that prices in Poland and Colombia are going to be reduced. A drop of 15 to 20% is applied, and this happened because of better currency exchange rates. This would surely bring a little relief to the players there.
But the story in Turkey is another way. Prices are now going higher by about 20% since the Turkish Lira is still struggling due to ongoing currency value issues. So, players in Turkey may feel the pinch a bit more when buying gems or passes in their favorite Supercell games.
Tax changes hit Brazil, Peru, Nepal and more
Supercell also confirmed that several countries are seeing price increases not because of exchange rates, but due to new or updated local tax laws. This includes:
- Azerbaijan: 18% increase
- Peru: 18%
- Nepal: 13%
- Brazil: 10%
- Suriname: 10%
These new price tags are effective starting today and might be reflected soon in the App Store or Google Play for all Supercell games.
Double-check before making purchases
Supercell reminded players via their official X (formerly Twitter) account that these changes are now live and apply specifically to purchases made in local currencies like the Polish Zloty (PLN), Colombian Peso (COP), and Turkish Lira (TRY).
If you’re someone who plays Clash of Clans, Brawl Stars, Clash Royale, Squad Busters, Hay Day, or mo.co, it’s probably best to check your local app store or the Supercell Store directly before spending.
Previous hikes in other regions
This is the first price adjustment Supercell has made in 2025. But before this, last year saw major updates too. Ghana had a 25% increase, and VAT introduction in countries like Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire and Zambia caused 16–18% hikes. March 2024 was especially heavy, with Egypt seeing a 75% hike, Myanmar 35%, and Turkey already had a 15% rise before this.
As global currencies and tax systems keep changing, it seems likely that Supercell will continue tweaking its prices in the future as well.
