Cultivating India’s Esports Future
The Indus International Tournament isn’t merely a competition; it’s part of SuperGaming’s broader vision to develop India’s esports ecosystem. With four competitive stages—Homegrown, Nationals, Powerplay, and International—the event is designed to capture the diversity of the Indian gaming community and open professional doors for grassroots players.
The earlier phases saw rising Indian teams such as Team Rogue, DGE, and Moggers, along with international squads like Team 4Magic from Brazil and Kadiliman Esports from the Philippines, qualify for the LAN Finale. These teams, alongside others, will vie for supremacy on one of India’s biggest esports stages. The LAN MVP will also receive a custom Mahindra Thar, adding to the stakes.
A Vision Beyond Competition
Commenting on the tournament’s direction, Roby John, CEO and Co-Founder of SuperGaming, emphasized a shift away from traditional esports models:
“We’re not just building an esports tournament—we’re creating a storytelling platform where players become protagonists in the evolving universe of Indus. This isn’t about fleeting trends but about building a sustainable, community-driven ecosystem with real opportunities for players, creators, and fans.”
