The Division 2 Battle for Brooklyn DLC New Missions, Gear, and Map Expansion; Know Price

Battle for Brooklyn DLC arrives for The Division 2 today, featuring new missions, gear, skill variants, and Brooklyn-based locations to explore.

Ubisoft has another expansion ready for The Division 2, and this time it returns fans to a place they know—but now with a different twist. “Battle for Brooklyn”, the next paid DLC, arrives today and will add new missions, locations, and lots of content for those still loyal to the looter-shooter. The game, which originally launched in 2019, continues to surprise fans with fresh support heading into its fifth year.

The Division 2 Battle for Brooklyn DLC Details

This expansion takes Division agents back to New York again. Unlike Warlords of New York, though, this story now unfolds in Brooklyn, where things aren’t any better. There’s a new rogue faction rising up and trying to take control of key spots in the borough—and of course, it’s up to Division to stop them before it's too late.

Areas like Williamsburg and DUMBO, as well as some parts of Park Slope, have been recreated in detail. Players will get to experience these new locations with fresh missions, side activities, and strongholds to clear. Ubisoft mentioned there are roughly 10 hours worth of campaigns included in this DLC.

New Toys and Harder Stuff to Fight

With the expansion, players also will be able to try out new gear. There are new exotic items, some named sets, and a stealth-based SMG that seems ideal for close-range builds. There are also two skill variants added, one that’s more crowd-control focused, and the other is geared toward doing precise damage to key enemies.

The update will also come with a brand new Incursion, which is a challenging four-player activity that sits somewhere between missions and a raid. You’ll need coordination, especially if you’re not over-leveled.

At the same time, Ubisoft rolls out Season 12, which includes a new Manhunt target, cosmetics, and more rotating activities across D.C. and New York.

The Division 2 Battle for Brooklyn DLC Price

Unlike past updates, “Battle for Brooklyn” isn’t part of previous expansions or the Year 5 Season Pass. It’s a paid DLC, priced at USD 19.99, and will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series X|S, and PC. Preload already started and buying it before release gives a bonus outfit and weapon skin based on Brooklyn Defender gear.

Excitement Growing as Launch Nears

Among fans, reactions have mostly been positive. Many are excited to see how the game’s story evolves in a more grounded setting like Brooklyn. The developers at Ubisoft Massive hinted during a livestream that this won’t be the last big content drop for the game. They’re still planning more after this one.

All in all, Battle for Brooklyn looks to be an exciting reason to return to The Division 2. For those who've been waiting for something new, this just might be what brings them back.
