To Your Eternity, the emotionally powerful manga by Yoshitoki Oima, will conclude with its 25th volume, wrapping up nearly a decade of exploration into life, death, and reincarnation.
The hit manga To Your Eternity by Yoshitoki Oima is concluding after nearly nine years. The series will conclude with Volume 25, as revealed in Volume 24, which came out on April 16, 2025. But the publication date for the last volume has not been revealed yet.
The Story of To Your Eternity
The manga began serialization in Weekly Shonen Magazine back in November 2016. The series follows Fushi, who is immortal, as he discovers life from love, loss, and rebirth. Oima was inspired to create the piece after her grandmother died, and she took on themes of death and life in a response.
To Your Eternity manga released the third installment of chapter 199 (The World of White 3) on April 16, 2025. Volume 24 covers chapters 189 to 195, and Volume 25 is confirmed to be the final volume. It will likely include chapters 196-199, with the possibility of more. The final chapter's release is expected soon, though neither Kodansha nor Yoshitoki Oima has confirmed the exact number of chapters. Volume 25 is anticipated to be released in mid-September 2025, following the release pattern of Volume 24.
Awards and anime adaption
To Your Eternity has been praised for its emotional depth and themes. It even received the award for Best Shonen Manga in the 43rd Kodansha Manga Awards in 2019. Its narrative is already on its third and last arc, which began in early 2023. The manga became popular and got an anime. Season 1 came out in 2021, and Season 2 aired in 2022–2023. A third season is coming and will be released in October 2025. The studio for this season hasn't been released yet.
The English release of the manga is done by Kodansha USA.
