Twitter Login Not Working in Genshin Impact? Here’s Why

No, it’s not just you. If you’ve been trying to log into Genshin Impact through Twitter and keep hitting a dead end, there’s an actual reason and it’s not your internet

Twitter’s having issues—and it’s taken Genshin’s login system down with it.

HoYoverse’s Statement

HoYoverse confirmed the Genshin Twitter login problem in a notice earlier today, citing X’s ongoing service issues as the reason some players can’t log in. So, if Twitter is your only linked method, you’re likely stuck until it’s resolved.

The devs added that they would “promptly notify Travelers regarding the follow-up via notices once the issue has been fixed”. But while you’re stuck waiting, here’s what you can do instead:

What You Can Do 

Although players can’t log in from Twitter, they can try logging on through HoYoverse Pass or any other linked method that still works. If you’ve got one set up, you’re safe. If not, you may want to add a backup—especially with daily commissions and event countdowns still running.

It’s not a game-breaking bug. But it is disruptive. When a login system quietly fails because of something outside the game, it makes the whole thing feel a little less stable, yet neither HoYoverse, nor players can do anything for now. It’s a small issue, sure...but one that hits at the most inconvenient time.
