"Ultron Opens Up Fresh Possibilities for Your Ariel Lineups," is what the Marvel Rivals developers said about the addition of the new Strategist that will be added to the game in the Season 2.5 update. But from what is visible about Ultron online ahead of his release is a bunch of clips that showcase his skills, abilities, and ultimate. 

But fans aren't very pleased with what is being promised with his addition to the game. The dev claims that it could open up fresh possibilities, but it also opens up room for discussion about what the team composition could look like. For instance, a Tank, two Strategists (including Ultron,) and how many flying or on-land DPS? Who will capture the domination area?

If we talk about what's known about Ultron, you will see that Ultron has a team-wide healing ability with a cooldown of 10 seconds (give or take a second), and this provides a vague situation in team compositions. Most of the time, low-healing characters will offer strong offensive utility in some form. Ultron primarily offers moderate defensive utility. In this type of combination, we have to be careful to gain value from the different types of possible utilities offered in a team. 

A quick look at his gameplay reveals that he could have been a strong DPS and not anything beyond that. One of the fans who tried to make a comparison very rightly put it by saying, "Adam Warlock can one shot with a charged attack. If Ultron lacked in healing he should be very strong in DPS but he's s**t at that too."

Another user also drew parallels with Warlock and said, "He's more of a poke off-healer like Adam than he is a "Strategist" who leads the team. And tbh that kinda saddens me. Like even if he gets buffed, his game plan just isn't as interesting as it could have been."

Marvel Rivals Ultron Abilities

Here is a breakdown of all of Ultron's Abilities:

• Encephalo-Ray (Primary Attack - Left Click/LMB): Ultron fires a beam of energy from his hand. If held, Ultron can produce a burst of high damage. The attack has a very long range and seems to be hitscan (though the distance may induce damage fall off).
• Dynamic Flight (Basic Ability - LSHIFT/L1/LB): Ultron charges a direction for a dash(Accelerated state), before opening the rest of his mobility capabilities with sustained flight(temporary) in which he can also use all his other abilities.
• Imperative: Patch (Basic Ability - E/R1/RB): Ultron commands a large drone to follow a target ally for the drone to heal consistently over time to the target while healing all allies in proximity as well. This ability can reportedly be activated with no cooldowns, meaning Ultron can continually switch who he heals if the bot expires. The drone appears to be destructible.
• Imperative: Firewall (Alternate Attack - Right Click/RMB/L2): Ultron summons drones that grant bonus small temporary health (overshields) to Ultron and allies in range. The healing ability is complementary to Imperative: Patch; if he has an Imperative: Patch drone active, it will also heal the target, and grant them, and allies around them bonus health.
• Algorithm Fix (Passive - Hold Spacebar): While flying freely, holding spacebar lets Ultron slowly fall, which can help with positioning. 
  Rage of Ultron (Ultimate - Q): Ultron will summon a number of drones to circle him. Ultron and his drones will both again blast many Encephalo-Ray shots with an area-of-effect. These blasts will damage foes and heal allies within range!
