Valorant 10.05 Update: RR Refunds, Agent Fixes, and Map Improvements

Riot has released the new Patch 10.05 for Valorant, and this one has a big thing inside: Ranked Rollbacks. What it does is, if you were in a game where a cheater was present and your RR (that Ranked Rating thing) went down, the game now gives it back. You don’t get it just like that, though. First, the game displays a pop-up that indicates how much RR is being returned. However, you must first play one Competitive match before it is added to your RR. After the match ends, it shows up on the game summary page, even if you lose the match.

However, the rule is that this thing only works within the same Act. That means, if the Act is over, then no rollback. You gotta claim before time runs out. So it’s not a forever kind of thing. It’s mostly to help those people who had bad luck because the cheater was in the same match.

Valorant 10.05 Update: Fixes Done on Characters and Maps

Besides the ranked part, the patch also fixes a lot of stuff for agents and maps. Raze had a problem before, her Blast Pack didn’t explode in a big enough size. That was from Patch 10.03, but now it’s good again. Sage and Clove, when they revived people, those revived players were weak for a few seconds. That was unfair, and it’s fixed now, too. Tejo’s ability, Armageddon, is now a danger area, a it shows properly on different high places. Iso’s Double Tap HUD bar, which was showing wrong to people watching the match, is also not doing that anymore. And Waylay, they had a small lag during the match and an issue when using Convergent Paths during buy time. That one also got fixed.

Maps also had bugs. Breeze had crates blocking the view and some abilities not working right on A Site. Those are fixed now. Some flash things are not working in a few zones, but now they work again. The sunset map had a spike plant issue on the B-site crate, but now the player can plant it there like normal. Also, the lights and shadows got adjusted so people can see better.

Social Part Got Bit Better for Player Info

The social tab got changed, too. Now it shows player status and match score more quickly and often. This helps the team know who is doing what during the game.

All in all, Patch 10.05 tries to fix things that were bugging players before—cheaters, agent problems, map mess-ups, and communication stuff too.
