VALORANT Champions 2024 is Here, Check Out the Format

Riot Games has finally announced the highly anticipated format for the VALORANT Champions 2024 which is going to take place in the beautiful city of Seoul, South Korea. The tournament is planned to start on the 1st of August and will go on till the 25th of August. The tournament will be played in two stages, the group stage and the playoffs stage and will end with an amazing grand finale.

The 16 teams that have managed to qualify for the group stage will be divided into 4 groups each, wherein one group of all the teams will be from different international leagues, these teams will face off each other in a double elimination format where the top two teams from all groups will advance to the playoffs stage.

The 8 teams that qualify for the playoffs stage will be randomly seeded and a bracket will be generated where teams from the same group will be placed opposite to each other to make the match-ups fairer and the playoffs too will be played in the double-elimination format.

All the matches are going to be best of 3’s where the first team to win 2 games wins the match except the lower bracket final and grand final that are going to be played in the best of 5 format where the first team to win 3 matches will be crowned the VALORANT World Champions of 2024.
