Valorant Patch 10.02: Essential Bug Fixes Ahead of VCT Masters Bangkok

  • February 04, 2025 (UPDATED: February 05, 2025 13:01 IST)

Valorant Patch 10.02 brings crucial bug fixes for Regen Shields, agents like Killjoy and Vyse, and gameplay systems. Get all the details before VCT Masters Bangkok!

Valorant’s Patch 10.02 might not be packed with flashy new content, but it delivers some much-needed bug fixes—especially with VCT Masters Bangkok just around the corner.

One of the biggest fixes addresses an issue with Regen Shields, which sometimes left players barely clinging to life when they should have been eliminated. That’s now been corrected, along with some key agent tweaks and quality-of-life improvements.

Check out the full patch notes below.

Valorant 10.02 Patch Notes

Bug Fixes: General

  • Fixed an issue where certain damage types could leave players with Regen Shields at 1 HP instead of finishing them off.
  • This also resolves a bug where Clove could survive lethal damage if Regen Shield and Pick Me Up were both active.

Bug Fixes: Agents

Vyse

  • Arc Rose and Razorvine will no longer be visible on specific water surfaces.

Tejo

  • Players will no longer be able to survive running through the full duration of Armageddon under rare circumstances.

Killjoy

  • Fixed an issue where her recall minimap indicator could become invisible.
  • Alarmbot logic has been improved to be smarter:
    • Now, in niche cases, Alarmbot will move toward players standing on ledges and explode on them if they’re within range, rather than trying to take a long, unnecessary path.

Bug Fixes: Gameplay Systems

  • Observers will now see consistent team outline colors instead of them appearing incorrectly at times.

Bug Fixes: PC Only (Premier Mode)

  • Long team names will no longer overlap on the playoff bracket screen.
  • Fixed a bug where dropdown menus in the standings could cut off text.
  • Division names will now be properly aligned on the match history screen.

Final Thoughts

This update might not shake up the meta, but it smooths out some frustrating gameplay issues ahead of the 2025 esports season. With VCT Masters Bangkok on the horizon, these fixes should ensure a more polished experience for both casual and competitive players. Keep an eye out for more updates as Riot continues refining the game.
