Valve announces Dota 2 The International 2023 for October this year

The much awaited announcement regarding Dota 2 The international 2023 has been finally made public by Valve. The championship is all set to kick start in October 2023.
Valve has finally announced the much awaited Dota 2 tournament The International 2023 for October this year. The announcement came during the final stages of Dota 2 Berlin Major 2023 where Valve disclosed the date and venue for 'The International' 2023. The championship will be held in Seattle, USA in October 2023. This is overall the seventh time when Seattle would be hosting Dota 2 The International. It was 2017 when Seattle hosted the tournament and Team Liquid were crowned as the champions by defeating Newbee.
The official blog post on Valve's website revealed that the group stage of The International 2023 will kick start from October 14 followed by the playoffs. Both the events will be played under the same banner 'The Road to the International', more information related to it will be revealed in the coming weeks by Valve. Valve also showcased a video along with the blog post on its official website. In the video, an unknown person holds the Aegis of Champions and cleans it before putting it in a box and labels the box as a priority package being shipped to Seattle, USA.
The International 2023 will run for three days from October 27, 2023 to October 29, 2023. It will feature one of the best Dota 2 teams from around the world fighting to pick up the 'Aegis of Champions
The venue for Dota 2 The International 2023 is going to be Climate Pledge Arena previously known as Key Arena which holds a seating capacity of 18000. As per Seattle Kraken's claims, the Climate Pledge Arena is the first arena in the world which has zero carbon emissions. Dota 2 fans would be excited as they have previously witnessed some of the best matches at this arena in the history of The International.
The 2022 edition of 'The International' was held in Singapore where Tundra Esports displayed a dominating performance against Team Secret and handed them a defeat with a scoreline of 3-0. It is being anticipated that The International 2023 would bring more exciting Dota 2 matches for the fans. As of now, Team Liquid is the only team to secure its slot for the championship.
