VCT 2025 Pacific Stage 1: All participating teams, schedule, format, and more

The VCT 2025 Pacific Stage 1 is just around the corner, where the top twelve teams from the Pacific region will compete from March to May for a spot in the VCT Masters in Toronto. starting with a round-robin group stage before moving into a high-stakes double-elimination playoff. Here is everything you need to know.

VCT 2025 Pacific Stage 1 Format

Group Stage:

A total of twelve participating teams have been split into two groups of six, based on their performance in the Kickoff tournament. Each team will play against every other team in its group once; that is basically a single round-robin format. Below are the participating teams:

Group Alpha:

• Gen.G Esports
• DetonatioN FocusMe
• Paper Rex
• Global Esports
• BOOM Esports

Group Omega:

• T1
• TALON
• Team Secret
• ZETA DIVISION
• Nongshim RedForce
• Rex Regum Qeon

Every match in this stage will be a best-of-three (Bo3), where teams will need to secure two map wins to claim victory. The top four teams from each group will move to the next stage, that is Playoffs, while the bottom two teams from each group will be eliminated. 

Playoffs:

In playoffs, it will be shifted to a double-elimination bracket. A defeat on the upper bracket will give you one more chance before the final elimination. All matches leading up to the finals will be Bo3, excluding Upper, Lower, and Grand Finale, which will follow the B05 format.

Where to watch?

The tournament will be held offline at the Sangam Colosseum in Seoul, South Korea. If you are unable to attend in person, matches will also be broadcasted across official VCT YouTube and Twitch channels.
