RRQ wins VCT Pacific 2025 Stage 1 after defeating Gen.G 3-1 in the grand final. Check full map highlights, match summary, and updated standings for all teams from the stage.

After three months of back-to-back Valorant action in the packed Sangam SOOP Colosseum in Seoul, VCT Pacific 2025 Stage 1 finally got its champion, and it’s none other than RRQ. They pulled off a strong 3-1 win over Gen.G in the grand finals and walked away with 9 Pacific Points and the glory of being Stage 1 winners.

VCT Pacific 2025 Stage 1: RRQ Claims the Crown Over Gen.G, Map Highlights

Map One: Haven (13-8 to Gen.G)

The match kicked off on Haven, where Gen.G started strong. They were up 8-4 at halftime and didn’t let that lead go to waste. With solid coordination and sharp aim, they closed out the map 13-8, putting pressure on RRQ early on.

Map Two: Ascent (13-11 to RRQ)

But RRQ didn’t waste any time bouncing back. On Ascent, they came out taking the first 9 rounds in a row. Gen.G tried to recover in the second half and almost turned it around, but RRQ held their ground and took the map 13-11. That tied things up 1-1 and shifted the momentum big time.

Map Three: Lotus (13-9 to RRQ)

Then came Lotus, and RRQ just kept that rhythm going. They looked more confident, more aggressive, and more locked in. With clean executions and some clutch plays, they took the map 13-9, putting Gen.G on the ropes.

Map Four: Icebox (13-11 to RRQ)

The fourth map on Icebox was a do-or-die situation for Gen.G. They fought hard and even picked up a few rounds convincingly. At one point, it looked like a comeback might be brewing. But RRQ wasn’t having it, Jemkin, in particular, was just unstoppable. His sharp plays and cool-headed clutches helped RRQ edge out a 13-11 win, sealing the series 3-1.

With that victory, RRQ became the VCT Pacific 2025 Stage 1 champions. Now, with 9 points under their belt and a title to their name, RRQ will be heading into the rest of the 2025 Valorant Champions Tour with confidence and momentum on their side.
