"We just want to win our Big 4," DeltaPG on BMPS 2025 Grand Finals

This year, the stakes are extremely high at Battlegrounds Mobile Pro Series (BMPS 2025). Not only is there a Rs 4 crore prize pool at this time but there is also the lion's share of Rs 1.25 crore at stake. The incentives just don't end there since the slot of the Esports World Cup 2025 is also at stake. But some teams are built differently, and have a different mindset getting into this huge BGMI official tournament. One such team is the OnePlus Gods Reign. 

In a conversation with Aaryanshi Mohan, Chief Sub Editor at India Today Gaming, DeltaPG, the assaulter for the team, talked about the smaller and bigger visions that the team has right now.

Entering the arena on Day 1, the team looked very confident and finished the day in sixth place, and that's when this interview took place. When asked about how the team felt about where they finished, DeltaPG said, "We know how to come back and we will regroup and see what we can do on Day 3 and Day 4."

If you are someone who knows this team, then you know that over the last few years, they have won multiple big BGMI official and big third-party events. They have won BGIS and BGMS in 2023, ESL (this year), and are playing BMPS 2025. "I know the money will make a lot of difference for us and the team, but we want to fill our cabinet and complete our collection of all the Big 4 trophies."

He also added that we might say that the money is important, but the inclination is more towards the trophy. "The cabinet feels a little empty right now."

Delta had to be reminded that there is more at stake this time than the trophy. He said that there is always excitement to play internationally, but he feels that if his team doesn't win, he feels like the team that goes, should just make the country proud. "If we don't win. I want the team that goes to do their best, fear nothing, and just play as team India. The whole country will be backing you. And if we go, we know how it is done, but we hope there was more time to practice in that meta."
