When does Valorant Season 2025 Act 4 start?

The new Valorant season is upon us, and Valorant Season 2025 Act 4 will bring with it multiple additions to the game, including a new map. This new map is named Corrode and is based on the medieval streets that boast the industrial equipment and layered defenses that stand tall on salt flats.

So, for the ones who have been watching everything surrounding the new update online, the Valorant Season 2025 Act 4 update will go live on June 25, 2025. And the most interesting part about the update is the new map. It will also go live with the update. 

The map is located in northern France and set in the world of Omega Earth. The map will have two Spike Sites and a three-lane layout. Corrode will challenge the attackers against the defenses and fall-back areas.

Talking about the new map, Joey Simas, Lead Map Designer of VALORANT said, "With Corrode we wanted to solidify everything we've learned so far while also taking on new challenges that our players are facing – like overwhelming Agent utility."

Simas also talked about how the map will be more defender-friendly and will give the players a chance to put the attackers in a very tough situation. "This focus gives Defenders more opportunities to play on-site and weather the barrage of utility attackers throw their way, while also limiting post-plant play from off-site,” he added. "Our hope is that Corrode relieves some of VALORANT’s utility pressure while rewarding careful planning and well-executed strategy."

Corrode is now the third map that is based on Omega Earth. If you are interested in playing the map, you're in luck because you will be able to enjoy the map with a reduced RR penalty.
