Who Is Pierro in Genshin Impact? Story, Origins, Harbingers, and Future in Version 6.0

Pierro, also called “The Jester”, is not just an ordinary character. He is the Director of the Fatui and was the first one to become a Harbinger. Even though his appearances in Genshin Impact are not so much, he only shows up in short scenes like A Winter Night’s Lazzo and The Gods’ Limits, but his effect on Teyvat is huge. He’s been working behind the curtains, probably, and not just leading, but also changing how the world is supposed to work. He isn’t only about commanding troops; Pierro’s vision goes far beyond that.

• Scaramouche: Joined after what happened at Tatarasuna; later handled Delusion production.
• La Signora: She used to be the Crimson Witch. Pierro gave her a Cryo Delusion to change her fate.
• Tartaglia: Known as Childe, got an Electro Delusion from Pierro and was personally guided.
• Arlecchino: Seems to have some Khaenri’ah blood, and that caught Pierro’s attention.

He’s not just sitting in Snezhnaya, Pierro has been shaking up nations. Let’s look at some examples.

• Dottore broke the Mikage Furnace (on orders).
• Signora helped with pushing the Vision Hunt Decree.
• Delusions were being made in large numbers by Scaramouche.

In Liyue:

• He had Scaramouche investigate meteorites. The sky might not be real?? That’s what was hinted.

Inside Fatui:

• Kept everyone under control.
• Showed unexpected respect at Signora’s funeral by calling her “Rosalyne” and stopping the others from arguing.

What He Believes

Pierro doesn’t trust the gods or their system. He believes that the world is being run on principles that don’t make sense anymore.
“Each one of us has borne witness to the absurd callousness of the foundational principles of this world. So, let us don our masks and rewrite the rules of destiny.”
He’s not just trying to defeat Celestia. He wants to throw away the old rules and create new ones, something he thinks will be fairer for everyone.

What’s Coming in Genshin Impact 6.0 Update? 

Version 6.0 is gonna be big. And Pierro’s role will likely be even bigger.

• He’s finally expected to show up in the game itself, during the Snezhnaya (Nod-Krai) chapter.
• Confirmed to be Cryo-based.
• Might be tied deeply to the Traveler’s sibling and the Abyss.
• He might even become one of the main villains (or something more complex) as we get closer to the end of the main story.

Pierro’s not your average villain. He thinks deep, plans deeper, and has lived too long to not be shaped by pain. He built the Harbingers, influenced major events in different nations, and openly defies the gods without fear.
As the plot moves toward Snezhnaya, his true agenda is going to be clearer. But don’t expect a simple showdown. This will probably be about who gets to write the rules of the world from now on. And Pierro, he’s already chosen his answer.
