Since each of them plays differently from the other, some make the game smoother and a little easier, while others make it harder, but they also reward in case you learn them properly.
And thus here are all weapon kinds in the game, starting the list with the best and ending with the worst, regarding their efficiency in general and against enemies of different types.
Wuchang: Fallen Feathers: All Weapon Types Ranked
1. Dual Blades: Fast and Flashy but Light
These blades are enjoyable, especially for those who prefer fast attacking. They're quick, don’t consume so much stamina, and allows you to do combos which look very cool. Also, sometimes you even get back some health in certain clashes. However, their damage isn’t that strong if the enemy is big or has more reach. Still, for general combat, they’re fun and quite reliable.
2. Spears: Good Mix of Everything
Spears are quite a balanced weapon. They give you decent range, nice damage, and don’t force you to get too close, which helps a lot during boss fights. They scale on Strength and Wisdom, so if you like to make hybrid builds, you’ll benefit here. They may not look most exciting at first glance, but they’re very dependable and tactical players will appreciate what they offer.
3. Longswords: Heavy, But They Hurt
This one is slow, and you can feel the weight when you use it. But every swing is meaningful. Longswords punish you if you rush things, but if you take your time, they are very satisfying. Also, they have a parry mechanic that’s useful if you time it correctly. For dealing with groups, it works surprisingly well. Mistakes cost a lot, though, so be careful while using.
4. One-Handed Swords: Requires Little Practice
Not so easy to get in touch with, these swords are not so powerful on their own, but with magic infused into the mix, they can get quite useful. They move quicker than Longswords and provide a certain freedom when walking around during the battle. It is a decent choice in case you enjoy employed skills in conjunction with melee. All you need to do is know how to play around with it.
5. Axes: Loud Whacks With lots of Dissent
When it hits an enemy, axes feel good and are big and powerful. In case of tank-style builds, they may be quite fulfilling. But, they are simply slow and absorb sharpness fast. Against quick opponents or in quicker bouts, you leave yourself too open. Look, they do a great amount of harm, but there are situations when the risks are not worth it unless you are quite sure.
And actually, any weapon in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers can be used ideally when one puts in the effort. There is no weapon really bad; some are faster to operate at lower levels, and some take time. The best hint, that is, simply, keep trying the styles and continue with whatever is most suitable. Last but not least is your comfort.
