Wuthering Waves 1st Anniversary Events: Free Lustrous Tides, Skins, and More Rewards Revealed

Wuthering Waves marks its first year with a special in‑game celebration. The Version 2.3 update goes live on April 29, 2025. Players can then prepare for anniversary events starting May 23, 2025. Short quests and login bonuses offer generous rewards.

Login Rewards

On May 23, the Gifts of Grand Celebration login event begins. You claim 10 Radiant Tides and an Anniversary Avatar on your first login. Over the next seven days, the Gifts of Grand Reunion event grants 5 Lustrous Tides and 5 Radiant Tides through daily logins. These events alone yield up to 15 Radiant Tides and 5 Lustrous Tides.

Gifts of Melodic Verses

A week‑long Gifts of Melodic Verses login series follows. Each day grants Astrites, Premium Tuners, and crafting materials. Players earn a total of 300 Astrites over seven days. Additional rewards include modifiers and shell credits for gear upgrades.

Cubie Derby & Warmup

Cubie Derby: Warmup is a timed challenge in Version 2.3. Participation nets 10 Radiant Tides. You also unlock the new Flight Aspect “Laureate” glider skin. A Phantom: Chest Mimic appearance is available as an event reward. This event tests your speed and agility on a special track.

Gilded Nightmarket

The Gilded Nightmarket lets you exchange Nightmare Tokens for goods. Tokens are earned by completing anniversary tasks. You can trade tokens for Radiant Tides, past event rewards, and weapon skins. Unique cosmetics and utility items also appear.

Skins and Cosmetics

New cosmetic items celebrate the anniversary. A wings skin with violet‑pink stars becomes available. The Chest Mimic Phantom skin returns in special challenges. Login codes also offer free glider skins. Players can customize their experience with these limited‑time looks.

Total Free Pulls

Combined events give over 35 Radiant Tides. At least 5 Lustrous Tides come free. Additional pulls arrive via gifts and milestone rewards. This totals roughly 40 pulls for new and returning players. This makes the celebration one of the richest to date.

How to Claim

Log in daily from May 23 to May 30. Visit the Anniversary tab to track progress. Complete event tasks as they unlock. Check your in‑game mail to collect each reward. Enjoy the festivities and stock up on pulls, skins, and resources before the events end.
