Zenless Zone Zero 1.5 Update: Update Time, File Sizes & More

Zenless Zone Zero's much-awaited Version 1.5 update, "Astra-nomical Moment," is now ready for pre-download. Players can get ready in advance for smoother access when the update officially launches after maintenance. Here's everything you need to know:

Pre-Download Period and Details

The pre-download is available from January 20, 12:00 (UTC+8) to January 22, 05:50 (UTC+8) for all platforms. File sizes are approximately 9 GB for PC and 4 GB for mobile (Android/iOS), so ensure sufficient storage and use Wi-Fi to avoid excessive data usage.

• PC Users: Pre-download via the HoYoPlay Launcher while continuing gameplay.

• Mobile Users: Tap the "Pre-Download Resources" icon in-game, keeping in mind gameplay will be restricted during the process.

Voice packs installed on your client may influence the file size, so plan accordingly.

Scheduled Maintenance and Update Information

The update maintenance takes place starting from January 22, 06:00 (UTC+8) and lasts for five hours. Players will not be able to log in temporarily. Closer to the update, there will be more details on the new gameplay, bug fixes, and optimizations.

Eligible players at Inter-Knot Level 4 or higher before maintenance will receive Polychrome ×300 as server update compensation. Rewards will be distributed via in-game mail post-update and must be claimed within Version 1.5.

Once maintenance is complete, follow platform-specific instructions to update:

• PC: Restart the game via the HoYoPlay Launcher.

• Android: Update through the in-game prompts.
