Zenless Zone Zero Rolls Out Landmark Version 2.0 Update: "Where Clouds Embrace the Dawn"

Hoyoverse's action RPG Zenless Zone Zero embarks on a new journey with the release of its Version 2.0 update, "Where Clouds Embrace the Dawn." It rolled out early today after the planned five-hour maintenance period that kicked off at 6:00 AM UTC+8. The update brings significant content additions in the form of new characters, chapter stories, equipment, and a large number of system-level enhancements. The update is currently downloadable on all supported platforms, namely PC, Android, iOS, PS5, and PS5 Pro.

Launch Rewards and Compensation

To recognize the maintenance time and secure an easy transition into the update, players who have already reached Inter-Knot Level 4 before the update will be rewarded with 600 Polychrome through in-game mail — 300 as a general reward and an additional 300 as part of issue-solving. 

Three New Agents Join the Battle

Version 2.0 adds to the playable roster three different characters:

• Yixuan (S-Rank): A damage-dealing piercing specialist with the Auric Ink attribute, best for players that wish to take advantage of Sheer Damage via aggressive play. 
• Ju Fufu (S-Rank): A squad-based agent that excels at Daze application and buffing, increasing allies' CRIT DMG and Ultimate Attack outputs.
• Pan Yinhu (A-Rank): A hybrid tank and support character who provides Rupture allies with improved Sheer Force while providing beneficial healing power. Pan Yinhu will be permanently added to the Stable Channel "Star-Studded Cast" roster from Version 2.1 onwards.

Story Content and Exploration Features

The game's story continues with the release of Main Story Season 2, Chapter 1, which has the same title as the update. This chapter unlocks Failume Heights and Aerospace City, both introducing unique environmental mechanics and fresh exploration for players.

• Suibian Temple – Focal point for new restoration gameplay.
• Yum Cha Sin – Provides new commission-based quests.
• Agent Story: "Legend of the Tiger Warrior!" – Solo story centering on Ju Fufu.
