Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.1 Update and Livestream Preview

The time is already arriving fast, and all Zenless Zone Zero players must prepare for it. July 4 is not just the celebration of a day, but also something big for the players who were waiting for new updates in the game. The developers from HoYoverse is finally bringing the Version 2.1 update, named The Impending Crash of Waves, which will have new agents, rewards and also a livestream which will show all the things in advance.

Date of Livestream and Watching It

The livestream will be broadcast on July 4, 2025, at exactly 19:30 UTC+8. In India that is at 5:00 PM, while USA watchers can see it around morning, like 4:30 AM PDT. This stream is going to be available at YouTube and Twitch, and it will not be something to skip because a lot of things be announced there like new banners, playable agents and also free codes.

The Things That Coming in 2.1

There is two new S-rank Agents this time. One is called Ukinami Yuzuha, she is working together with a raccoon or some creature and she does support things. Then there’s also Alice Thymefield, she comes from a rich family and use beautiful skills in battle. These agents are from something called Spook Shack which sounds like maybe scary or unusual, but they have not explained that much before.
This update also brings new W-Engine banners and special event commissions. Story will be continued also, and we might see new areas or new plot parts.

 

Gift Codes and Rewards from Stream

Like what happened in previous events, developer people will show codes during stream. These can be used for Polychromes, Dennies, and maybe even materials. Most codes is only working for few hours or one day, so if you are not there live, you probably miss it. Each code usually gives 300 Polychrome or sometimes even more, depend.

This date not only because new version, but also because it's 1-year anniversary of Zenless Zone Zero. On July 4, 2024, game was released globally, so now it’s full circle. It’s a celebration and probably we going to get extra rewards just because of that.
