ESPL 2021 Level 3 Day 1: Bangalore Ballistics leads the overall standings

ESports Premier League 2021 saw the completion of its first day of the Level 3 stage. A total of 20 matches were played in clash squad mode. ESPL 2021 is a franchise-based league announced by India Today Gaming, the gaming and esports division of India Today Group. The tournament features a massive prize pool of Rs 25,00,000 distributed among the top 8 teams in the grand finals scheduled to be held on 29th August 2021.

The ESPL 2021 Level 1 featured amateur and semi-professional teams across the country which competed against each other to finish in the top 22 teams from each group. A total of 88 teams qualified for phase 2 who were joined with the 8 invited teams. These teams competed in the level 2 phase out of which the top 8 teams made it through the Level 3 stage.

With all the matches concluded for the day, we have the overall standings of the teams with match wise results. The first game of the series was played between Rajasthan Reapers and Bangalore Ballistics. Team Bangalore won the first best of 5 classic modes matches with a 4-1 score. L3M2 was won by Punjab Paladins with 3-2 against Chennai Celestials.

Third game of the ESPL 2021 Level 3 day 1 was won by Delhi Dukes in a close match. They won by a 3-2 score against Mumbai Marshals. L3M4 was won by Hyderabad Hydras with a 4-1 score against Kolkata Kaijus.
