The Game Awards 2022 introduced a plethora of new games coming and there were some pretty big announcements to look forward to. Death Stranding 2
Hideo Kojima revealed that his cryptic social media build-up was actually a Death Stranding sequel. We received a 4-minute trailer featuring Sam Bridges from Death Stranding as well as Fragile.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty features Idris Elba
A new gameplay trailer for Cyberpunk 2077 DLC was released which features Idris Elba as the latest star to be a part of the Cyberpunk world, which already has Keanu Reeves. Elba will play FIA agent Solomon Reed in the Phantom Liberty DLC which releases on 2023.
Star Wars: Jedi Survivor releasing in March 2023
Star Wars: Jedi Survivor was confirmed for a release on March 17, 2023 with a new trailer. Cal Kestis’ journey against the Empire will continue in Star Wars: Jedi Survivor.
Diablo 4 Arrives in June 2023
Diablo 4 was announced by Blizzard and it will release on June 6, 2023. Blizzard also announced that a beta would be live before it. Check out the trailer above for the return of the iconic series.
Final Fantasy 16 will release on June 22, 2023
Square Enix showcased a new Final Fantasy 16 trailer that revealed the release date as June 22, 2023. The trailer also featured the latest game’s battle system in a trailer mixed with cinematics and gameplay.
Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon
Elden Ring developer FromSoftware announced Armored Core 6 with a new trailer that featured apolcaltypic vibes with robots taking on each other. Armored Core 6 will be released in 2023.
Hades 2
Hades 2 was officially announced at The Game Awards by developer Supergiant Games. Players will get a look at Hades 2 via Early Access in 2023.
Judas
Ken Levine, the creator of BioShock, unveiled his first game with his studio Ghost Story Games. Judas very much retains that BioShock feels and is also going to be a narrative-driven single-player FPS but apparently in set in Space.
Street Fighter 6 release date announced
Street Fighter 6 will be releasing on June 2, 2023, as revealed in the new trailer. The trailer featured characters like Dee Jay, Manon, Marisa and JP among others.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League features late Kevin Conroy as Batman
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League new trailer featured the late Kevin Conroy as the Batman. The game is set for a release on May 26, 2023.
Tekken 8
The new trailer for Tekken 8 showed Jin Kazama's mother, Jun Kazama, will return as a playable character. Jun Kazama was last seen in Tekken 2 and presumed dead but apparently not.
Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores DLC announced
Horizon Forbidden West’s DLC will exclusively be for PS5 players and it will release on April 19, 2023. Burning Shores DLC will place Aloy in Los Angeles as the trailer showcased the Hollywood sign.
Crash Team Rumble
A new Crash game will be coming out in 2023 called Crash Team Rumble. It will be a 4v4 multiplayer game and players would have to “slide, smash, bump, and bash as a team to be the 'fur-st' to bank the most Wumpa fruit in their drop-off zone while simultaneously defending the opponent team's drop zone."
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2
Gameplay for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 was released at The Game Awards 2022. It will be out for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2023.
Earthblade
Celeste developer Extremely OK Games revealed Earthblade, their upcoming 2D “explore-action” game and it will release in 2024.
Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon Announced
A Bayonetta spin-off was announced, despite Bayonetta 3 releasing in October. The upcoming game will introduce players to a younger version of Bayonetta 3's Cereza and Cheshire.
Hellboy video game
A Hellboy game is coming! Mike Mignola's Hellboy will be arriving to PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. It will be a roguelite action adventure game with stylish art and an original story.
Crime Boss: Rockay City features Chuck Norris, Danny Trejo, and Michael Madsen
Publisher 505 Games revealed a star-studded cast that includes Michael Madsen, Danny Glover, Kim Bassinger, Danny Trejo, Chuck Norris, and Vanilla Ice for Crime Boss: Rockay City. The game will be a stealth action FPS where they have to lead a criminal underworld in 90s Florida.
The Lords of the Fallen
Gameplay for The Lords of the Fallen was revealed and it looks like a RPG Soulslike that will be doing a soft reboot of 2016's Lords of the Fallen. It is set 1,000 years after the original game and features a world five times bigger than the original.
The Last of Us Part 1 PC release date
The Last of Us Part 1 will finally arrive on PC on March 3, 2023, as announced at The Game Awards 2022.
Returnal coming to PC
Another PlayStation-exclusive will be coming to PC in 2023. The BAFTA best-game award winner will be releasing in early 2023, as per the trailer.
Baldur's Gate 3
Baldur's Gate 3 release window was finally announced after the game spent more than two years in early access. The game will be arriving in August 2023.
Forspoken
Forspoken’s playable demo is live on PlayStation Network for players to try their hands on Square Enix's upcoming RPG.
Transformers: Reactivate
Transformers: Reactivate, an upcoming online action game, was announced. Developed by Splash Damage, it will be released for PC and consoles.
Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden
Focus Entertainment and Don't Nod revealed Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. The game is set in 1695 in North America. It will let the story of two ghost hunters who work together to stop ghosts and protect people.
Immortals of Aevum
Immortals of Aveum, a single-player magic shooter was unveiled by Ascendant Studios. It’s an EA Original game and developers who have worked on Dead Space, Halo, and BioShock are a part of this project.
Remnant 2
Gearbox Publishing and developer Gunfire Games revealed Remnant 2 and it will released on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC in 2023. It is a new looter shooter that features three-person cooperative shooter.
