Tournament Locations

• Masters Events:
  • Bangkok, Thailand: The first VALORANT Masters event of 2025.
  • Toronto, Canada: The second Masters event of the season.
• Champions 2025:
  • Paris, France: The prestigious Valorant Champions tournament will close out the competitive season, marking the second time the event will be hosted in Europe after Berlin in 2021.

Competitive Format Changes

• Season Start:

  • The 2025 VCT season will begin with a Kickoff tournament, similar to 2024, where all teams in the VCT International leagues will compete in a double-elimination bracket for a chance to qualify for Masters Bangkok.
  • The top two teams from each region will qualify for the first Masters tournament.

• Stage 1:

  • Masters Toronto will be the goal for teams competing in Stage 1 of the VCT leagues. Performance in this stage will determine who qualifies for this international tournament.

• Stage 2:

  • After Masters Toronto, Stage 2 will commence. However, teams' records from Stage 1 will not carry over into Stage 2, a key change from 2024. This requires teams to maintain consistency throughout the year to qualify for Champions.

• Playoffs and Champions Qualification:

  • Teams will compete in the Stage 2 playoffs for a chance to qualify for the Valorant Champions 2025 tournament in Paris, which will crown the world champions.

Announcement Timing

Riot Games has not yet released an official announcement about the 2025 VALORANT competitive season across all platforms but is expected to do so before the final match of Valorant Champions 2024.
