From Page to Screen: A Story of Identity and Connection
The manga started in Dessert magazine in July 2020 and is published in English by Kodansha USA. Since then, it has been widely praised. In 2023, it won the Grand Prize at the ebookjapan Manga Awards. It also ranked fourth in the 2022 Kono Manga ga Sugoi! list for female readers.
The story looks at identity, love, and how people are seen by others. Yoi and Kohaku’s relationship goes deeper than a typical romance. It shows how understanding someone can change the way they see themselves.
