Monster Strike Mobile Game Gets First Full TV Anime Adaptation

Monster Strike: Deadverse Reloaded, the first full TV anime from the hit mobile game, premieres this October across Tokyo MX and 44 channels in Japan

After being a popular mobile game for a long time, now Monster Strike is getting a TV anime, first time ever like this. The name is “Monster Strike: Deadverse Reloaded” and it is going to begin from October month. The anime will show on Tokyo MX and more than 40 other channels across Japan. This one is one-cour only, so will run for around 3 months.

The Game’s Long Journey Before Anime Came

The Monster Strike game first came out in 2013 on mobile phones for iOS and Android. Then in 2014, they also made an English version. But that version did not last long, it stop in 2017. Later in 2015, one more version was launched for Nintendo 3DS, but only in Japan.

Actually, this is not the first anime from Monster Strike. Back in 2015, they launched a web anime called Monster Strike the Animation, it was planned for TV but went online instead. After that, more seasons and short spin-offs were also released. Some were about characters like Lucifer and Arthur, which fans really liked. Few of them were 5 or 6 episodes long only, but story was going deep.

Past Anime Highlights and Movie Releases

The last part of anime online came in 2020 with “End of the World”, where many heroes comes together to face a big bad villain. That arc was very intense. Even before that, they tried something new with “Hareruya: Fated Choice”, where people watching could choose the ending by voting. It was kind of a special thing.

Also, three movies are made from this game story. First one was in 2016, and next one released in 2018, then the latest came in 2020. Some of these got international stream too, so fans from other countries watched them.

Now, with a proper TV anime on the big screen, Monster Strike is really going next level. For old fans and also new ones, it will be exciting to see what new stories and fights will come in this version. Let’s see what happen in October.
