Apex Legends Season 16 Revelry will introduce a new weapon Nemesis, confirm developers
There's a nerfs and buffs incoming for Flatline, R-301 and Shotguns.
Apex Legends Season 16 will finally have a new weapon incoming. Revelry will introduce Nemesis, a new burst AR weapon. There are also some buffs coming for Shotguns, and a new weapon attachment as well. While there's a new AR coming, the Flatline and R-301 are set to receive buffs as the developers have shaken things up to alter the game's current meta.
Apex Legends New Weapon
Apex Legends is introducing a new weapon into the mix with the arrival of Nemesis. This is a new burst Assault Rifle which fires 4 shots per round. This new weapon uses energy ammo and has an automatic trigger, meaning players don’t have to repeatedly press the trigger button (RT, R2 or left-click) to fire it. You can simply hold on to the trigger button and it’ll fire automatically.
Lead weapon designer Eric Canavese also explained that the delay between each burst fire decreases each time you fire from the weapon.
Shotguns
Shotguns have received some love from the developers, and now all shotguns will have a slot for tactical stock. This will help improve the weapon’s reload speed, and handling and also reduce the spread of the shotgun’s pellets.
A new weapon attachment is also coming with the introduction of the Gold Shotgun Bolt. This max-level shotgun bolt will automatically reload the gun when you’re sliding. If that’s not enough, the weapon will automatically reload regardless of whether the weapon is in your hands or stowed.
Flatline and R-301 nerfed
With the introduction of a new Assault Rifle, Flatline and R-301 are receiving a nerf. The hip-fire spread of both of these weapons will be increased.
As for the R-301, the weapon is set to receive body damage nerf. Body shots from R-301 will now deal 13 damage, instead of 14.
Supply Crate and Replicator
The Helmok will be going into the crate, as revealed by the developers. Rampage will now be back and available as ground loot.
Longbow and Volt will be added to the replicator for Season 16. These two weapons will not be available as ground loot and can only be crafted through a replicator.
