The roster of freebies for October on the Epic Games Store was set by Runbow and The Drone Racing League during the first week. Following this, three new titles have once again joined the list of free games. Two of them are already up for grabs, while Epic Games has only revealed the details of the next title going free on the platform. Here’s everything you need to know for some new attractive additions to your library of games.

Darkwood
This is a survival horror from indie devs Acid Wizard Studio. In a dystopic world, you get to play as The Doctor, who scavenges for various items throughout the day. He then gets back to his hideout, before nightfall, only to defend it all night till the next sunrise. Not a very popular game, but it does have a Metacritic rating of 80/100. So now’s the opportunity to try out something new, and appreciated.
ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove!
This is the 2019 installment from the classic Rogue-Lite game series originally from Sega. Coming from indie developers, HumaNature Studios, this 4-player online and local co-op presents the OG funky elements, with fresh improvements.
Both Darkwood and ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove! are available for free now, till October 20, 8:30 PM IST. To redeem these titles for free, head over to the Epic Games Store, and onto the Free Games section. Tap on the game(s) of your choice, and you’ll be redirected to the purchase page of the game. Select “Get” and then “Place Order” to automatically add the game to your library.

Evoland Legendary Edition
This is an RPG from 2013, published by Shiro Games. However, this is an adventure through the history of video games, where you get to play through various styles and gameplays. The Legendary Edition launched in 2019, as a collection of Parts 1 and 2. It will be available for free on the Epic Games Store from October 20th to October 27th.
Fallout 3- Game of the Year Edition
Perhaps this is going to come as the most exciting bit of this report as Bethesda’s Fallout 3 is one title that needs to introduction. The Game of the Year Edition will soon be available for free on the Epic Games Store starting October 20th, till October 27th. One of the most acclaimed games in the genre of action RPGs, don’t forget to claim this game if you don’t have it already.
