Pokemon Go Halloween event 2022: All the available Pokemon, Mega Raid, Special Research details and more
Gastly, Haunter, Misdreavus, Zubat, Shuppet, Spinarak, and Murkrow are some of the Pokemon players can encounter during the event.
Pokemon Go Halloween event is almost here and it’s set to bring a variety of Ghost-type Pokemon to the game, giving players a chance to “catch 'em all”. The Halloween event will take place as a two-part event. The first part of the event starts on Thursday, October 20, at 10 am, and it’ll run through a week ending on October 27 at 10 am. Here’s what it will offer Pokemon Go trainers including the chance to catch Mega Banette, Altered Forme Giratina and more.
Mega Raid and Special Research
Mega Banette will be the featured Pokemon for Mega Raids during the event’s part I. There’s also a chance to encounter a Shiny Mega Banette but you’d need luck in your favour for that.
There will be Special Research for players to earn rewards and catch Pokemon. There will also be a paid Timed Research that will allow players to get encounters with Yamask and Galarian Yamask as well as the chance to earn a new avatar pose. These Timed Research will expire on November 1 at 10 am so players must complete it and redeem their rewards before it expires.

As for the Special Research available to all players, there will be a chance to encounter a Shiny Galarian Yamask. It will also be expiring on November 1 at 10 am.
Pokemon Go Halloween event part I bonuses
Pokemon Go Halloween event part I will feature several event bonuses for players to take advantage of. For starters, there will be 2x candy awarded for catching, hatching and transferring Pokemon. Those Pokemon Go trainers who are on level 31 will be earning 1 Candy XL when walking with their Pokemon Go buddy.

Altered Forme Giratina available in Raids
Players will stand a chance to catch Altered Forme Giratina during the Pokemon Go Halloween event and any Girantina caught during this event will come with the Shadow Force featured attack. It offers 120 power during Trainer Battles and 140 power during Gym and Raid battles.
Ghost-type Pokemon can be caught and hatched
Yamask, Galarian Yamask, Phantump, Golett and Noibat will be the Pokemon that can be obtained by hatching eggs during the event. A host of Ghost-type Pokemon will be out in the wild. Gastly, Haunter, Misdreavus, Zubat, Shuppet, Spinarak, and Murkrow are some of the Pokemon players can encounter during the event. Sableye, Dusclops, Absol, Drifloon, Yamask, Golett, Phantump, and Pumpkaboo will also be appearing in Pokemon Go at the Halloween event.
