The launch week of BGMS Season 2 will feature three matches per day which means each will get six matches to play. The points gathered by the teams during the launch week matches will be counted in the overall standings during the league stage of the tournament.
League Stage Week 1 (August 7 - August 9): The BGMS Season 2 Week 1 League Stage will again feature 24 teams, however, they will now be divided into three groups based on their performance in the launch week matches. All the teams will get to play eight matches in the round-robin format. The top 16 teams in the overall standings will be featured in Super Weekend 1.
Super Weekend 1 (August 11 - August 13): The top 16 teams from the league stage will battle against each other in Super Weekend 1. All the teams will play nine matches across three days. The points accumulated during Super Weekend 1 will be added to the overall standings of the League Stage. The top four teams with the highest points combined from the launch week and super weekend 1 will be directly seeded to Super Weekend 2. However, the top four teams will be playing the Week 2 League matches as well.
League Stage Week 2 (August 14 - August 17): The second week of the BGMS S2 league stage will again feature the 24 participating teams. The overall standings post Super Weekend 2 will include points from launch week and Super Weekend 1 & 2. With this, the top four teams will directly make their way to the grand finals of the tournament. The teams placed between 5 to 20 in the overall standings will feature in the playoffs of the tournament, while the bottom four teams will get eliminated.
2. PlayOffs (August 22 - August 23)
The 16 teams placed between 5 to 20 will play a total of six matches out of which the top 12 teams in the overall standings will make it to the grand finals of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series Season 2.
