KRAFTON launches Defense Derby in India and Globally
Krafton and RisgingWings have launched Defense Derby, a real-time strategy mobile game that revives the tower defense genre in India.
RisingWings, an independent studio of KRAFTON, Inc., has officially launched Defense Derby, a real-time strategy mobile game that rejuvenates the tower defense genre in India. The game has been launched globally and can be downloaded from Google PlayStore and Apple App Store.
Defense Derby revitalizes the tower defense genre with exhilarating 4-player PvP battles, complex strategic challenges, intense psychological warfare, and dynamic synergy effects. At the heart of the game lies a novel approach where players dive into a thrilling "scouting stage," fiercely bidding against competitors to secure units and form their ultimate teams. With these units expertly arranged within their fortress, players counter continuous monster attacks, striving to remain the last player standing.
Defence Derby offers a variety of game modes to enhance its users' gaming experience. Players compete against each other (PvP) in the primary Derby Mode, while PvE challenges are available in Blitz Mode. The Valley of Trials delivers a one-of-a-kind challenge, encouraging players to overcome obstacles utilizing limited units. Players can create rooms in Friendly Derby to engage their friends in fights. Themed Mode, which provides a periodic adjustment in rules, is only available for a limited time. Other upcoming additions include Ban Pick Mode, which allows players to block certain opponent troops, and Quest Mode, in which the first player to withstand the onslaught and complete specific missions wins.
KRAFTON and RisingWings have organized a series of thrilling in-game activities to commemorate Defense Derby's formal release. Every player receives a 'Welcome Package' with incentives such as 20,000 Gold, a Rare Hero card, a Rare Unit card, and a Special Castle Skin. Furthermore, by taking part in in-game events such as the Login Event, Lucky Draw, and Event Store, players can gain a variety of goodies such as Legendary Unit cards, Rare Unit cards, Cubics, Gold, and more. Additional events will take place on the official Defence Derby YouTube, Facebook, and Discord channels.
