Team Secret bids adieu to its PUBG Mobile roster
Popular European esports organization Team Secret has released its PUBG Mobile lineup following continuous failures in the official tournaments.

Team Secret has announced the departure of its PUBG Mobile roster following continuous failures in recent tournaments. The roster consisted of one of the best players in the Malaysian region - Ikmal "Aboyy" Hidayat, Mohd "IZane" Fauzan, Muhammad Izzrudin "Jumper" Hashim, Muhammad Danish "Kid" Yusniza, and Afzal "Minz" Lohari.
The team had a great run in the year 2021 when they got crowned as the champions of the PUBG Mobile Pro League SEA Fall 2021. However, the team failed to carry its winning momentum in future tournaments. Following the release of its PUBG Mobile roster, Team Secret also asked to stay tuned for the upcoming announcement regarding the new roster. Here is the complete statement by the esports organization -
"The end of an era, the beginning of a new one. Today we wish farewell to our PUBGM roster. We thank them for their dedication and their work throughout these past months. It wasn't an easy decision to make. As a long-time dedicated organization in the PUBG Mobile scene, we always strive for greatness and aim to bring pride to our fans. Stay tuned for our new roster reveal. We will make it back to the top, where we belong."
In recent tournaments, Team Secret had a poor run which might be the primary reason for the let go of the current roster. Team Secret's downfall started right after they won PMPL SEA Spring Season 4. Despite making notable changes in the lineup, the team failed to gain momentum in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2021 league stage.
A similar performance was carried out in the PMGC Grand Finals 2021 grand finals after they finished 12th in the overall standings. In the recently concluded regional tournament PMPL Malaysia Spring 2023, Team Secret continued its miserable performance and finished 7th. Now, it would be important to see what set of players would be picked by the European esports organization in the future.
