The first week of Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2025: The Grind has officially concluded, bringing intense battles among the Group D teams. This qualifier stage, scheduled from February 5 to February 23, serves as a crucial step in the road to BGIS 2025. Following the conclusion of Week 1, the teams have been divided based on their standings—the top eight teams have secured their place in Round 2, while the bottom eight teams will move to Round 1.

BGIS 2025 The Grind Format and Schedule

BGIS 2025: The Grind serves as a preparatory event leading up to the main tournament and features a four-week-long competition. A total of 64 invited teams have been divided into four groups, each playing 24 matches within their designated week. The breakdown of the format is as follows:

Week 1 (February 5 – 8)

  • Top 8 teams qualify for Round 2 (February 27 – March 2)
  • Bottom 8 teams move to Round 1 (February 16 – 23)

Week 2 (February 10 – 13)

  • Top 8 teams qualify for Round 3 (March 6 – 9)
  • Bottom 8 teams move to Round 2 (February 27 – March 2)

Week 3 (February 15 – 18)

  • Top 8 teams qualify for Round 4 (March 13 – 16)
  • Bottom 8 teams move to Round 3 (March 6 – 9)

Week 4 (February 20 – 23)

  • Top 8 teams qualify for Quarterfinals (March 20 – 23)
  • Bottom 8 teams move to Round 4 (March 13 – 16)

BGIS 2025 Grand Finals

The BGIS 2025 main event is set to take place from January 25 to April 27, 2025. A total of 1,080 teams (including 64 invited pro teams and 1,016 teams from open qualifiers) will compete in this prestigious battle royale event. The tournament will culminate in the Grand Finals, scheduled to be held in Kolkata from April 25 to April 27, 2025.
